Per their guaranty / return page which I encourage you to read before purchasing, “All leather products can bleed dye. We do our best to seal all leather products to prevent “bleeding” from occurring, but each buyer is taking that chance that an accident my occur and for whatever reason, the leather product may stain your clothing or something else. You can apply acrylic to seal leather so it won’t bleed or prevent it. Hot temperatures and lots of oil in the leather cause bleeding. TO PREVENT BLEEDING: I recommend a “natural” / non dyed leather”.
Application: Recommendation to stop Bleeding: Coat the leather with Fiebings Acrylic Resolene (available at Tractor Supply, local farm store, or Online). 1 coat, let it dry. Then second coat. It should not absorb into the leather second time around. If it does use a Third coat. Not heavy. Hope this helps.
