I just received my gun and magazine holster for my Springfield XDS 45 from John Jackson. It was truly worth the wait.The only thing I can say is “OMG its beautiful” but most of all- the best holster that I have. The quality of the leather and stitching was fabulous. When I say I have holsters I am talking about a drawer full. At least four or five different holsters for every gun I own and this one is the most comfortable one I now own. It will be my everyday holster for my 45. I will be ordering some more holsters very soon for my glock and ruger.

This is the idea of what I make for whatever pistol you want. This is the XDS exampe. The “clip-on” rides better for smaller pistols because the weight / size is more proportionate to the size of the gun. Comes in either Black/Brown and for the right/left hand. I can add a tsnap for 15$ extra.

This is an example of the leather stropping board I use and can make for you. It has leather on two sides for different compounds. I daily use my one handle with green compound on one side and black on the other. Just recently made a two handle board so I can turn it around. Comes drilled in the handle with a nice piece rope to hang it up.

I had John make a Holster for my Walther P4 9mm which I had planned to use as my new carry pistol. I inquired if I needed a strap across the top and was assured I did not and John was 100% correct that I did not need a strap across the top. I am 71+ years old, have owned and carried a LOT of holsters in my lifetime and this Holster is Hands Down THE BEST i have ever owned or carried. It is a perfect fit for the Walther P4. I searched high and low for a holster for my Ruger SR9 with CT Rail Master laser and I came up with only one option, which was a very bulky nylon holster that would not work for me. Received the black leather Kershaw Blur holster today. I am not a big fan of sending reviews or feedback; but I thought your holster really deserved some feedback.

It is bad a**! I really like it. It is well built, fits great, looks cool, and should last a long time. I did rub some Doc Bailey’s leather black on it to protect it. Can’t wait to wear it once it completely dries.

Bark River Little Creek Knife Sheath

This is a custom handmade Bark River Little Creek Knife Sheath. It comes in brown or black. I made this to replace the sheath that came with the “Little Creek” in order to have: 1) a folded over piece of leather for a belt loop, 2) heavier weight leather, 3) No rivets around the perimeter but 2 to secure the belt loop, and 4) hand sewn.

I am completely 100% satisfied with the superior craftsmanship John put into my new holster. I have bought over a dozen custom leather holsters over my lifetime. This is my first one crafted by John Jackson but not my last! The stitching is tight and the dye job is the best I have seen. When I started shopping for a holster for my new XDs 45, my knee jerk reation was to get a black holster for a black gun, but I was so impressed with his dye jobs that I decided to go with a brown dye that shows the leather grain better. My photo illustrates how the pistol and a 7 round extended magazine with grip extension sits in the holster. Even though IWB’s are the most concealable, I can wear this more comfortably outside on my belt with just a T-Shirt over it. Thanks again John! -Lee, Orlando, Fla.

I purchased the holster for my Springfield XDs and I was amazed. The leather is wonderful and the workmanship is top-notch. I have holsters for other guns but the one created by Mr. Jackson is by far the best, it fits the gun like a fine glove. Well worth the wait! I’ve seen a lot of guys making and selling “custom” holsters at gun show for more money and not nearly as well done as these.
Not to take away from their work, but I just got 2 of yours for what they charge for one. Both the pocket holster and IWB came out just the way I’d hoped.
